Chicken with shishito peppers and tangy spice- spicy enough but not overpowering.
Ingredients
- Chicken
- Yogurt
- Tomato puree
- Shishito peppers
- Minced ginger garlic
- Secret achar spice packet
- Lime
Instructions:
- Marinate Chicken and chilis with spice packet and lime juice separately
- Saute freshly chopped ginger garlic
- Add marinated chicken and saute for 7 mins
- Add nonfat plain yogurt and cook for 5 mins
- Add tomato puree and 1 cup of water. Mix well, cover, and cook for another 10 mins.
- Add peppers filled with spice and cover again. Cook until oil separates.
Serve warm with rice or pita bread or parathas of your choice and enjoy. You can substitute chicken with paneer for a vegetarian dish.
